I know exactly what you're talking about with the joint pain. Like you my knee bothers me if bowl a lot and also comes from overdoing the track and field thing. In any case, I highly recommend Osteo-Biflex. It has done wonders for my knees.
I haven't tried the Osteo Biflex, but I buy the generic glucosamine and chondroitin, and I swear by it. The last one I got was Walgreen's house brand and I'm not happy with them, though they seem to work, too. It's an enormous horse pill. I should have stuck with the capsules and not tried to save a few bucks. Breaking them in two to swallow them is a pain.
If your knees are real bad, then consider the "rooster comb extract". It's injected into your joint, and it's supposed to help lubricate and fill in some of the cartilage. My wife swears by them. She says that it helps.
I think I'll give the osteo biflex and the capzasin a try.
I'm only 24....I don't want to cut my bowling career short because of my damn leg.
Maybe If I start supplements now, I won't be up the creek without a paddle when I'm 40.

Hey now, push that number higher please, maybe 60? I'm near the creek, and the boat and paddle are still with me too.....
I've started to realize it - been called Sir a lot by the younger generation, never get carded anymore, even though I should, and to top it all off, can't master any video games anymore. That's the true sign of getting old. Already programmed and set in a way....

don't take it personally, 40 isn't old.
I just don't think my leg has another 16 years of bowling in it.
Hopefully, I prove myself wrong when I get to that point.
