7th annual PBA Baldo Campan Open -PBA and PBA50 Senior Qualifier Torunament Dates !

Ok Bowling fans the 7th annual PBA central region Baldo Campana open in memory of Dave D'Entremont dates are set for this year. Dont miss this incredible event and opportunity to win a low cost spot into this years PBA tournament.

This event draws 80+ participants every year awarding 16 or more spots each year into our PBA Event. We host both a regular PBA regional event and PBA50 senior event the same weekend so this qualifier is open to all who would like a chance to win a spot. Scoring pace is generally VERY low so its a perfect opportunity for everyone to win and No PBA members are permitted to bowl this qualifying event.

This year qualifier is scheduled for SUNDAY April 27th at 10am at Rebman Recreation 5300 Oberlin Ave Lorain Ohio 44053. Its a beautiful 48 lane center and entries max out at 120 so please enter early. Tournament is 5 games across 5 pairs of lanes moving after each game. This is a SCRATCH tournament so total pins after 5 games will determine PBA qualifiers. Lane pattern we are looking at for this year will be the PBA Earl Anthony pattern (still subject to change but not likely). 1 in 5 will win a spot. Entry is $70 if prepaid by April 18th and $80 up to the start of the event. Walk in are welcome if spots remain available.

Please note: 1 in every 5 Seniors ( 50+) will also win a spot into the SR regional . The Senior entrants will bowl at the same time as all qualifier entrants but will only compete against the other seniors bowling.

Women and Students may enter as well!!!! All prizes are awarded as entries and are not monetary. PBA awards all monies as SMART account prizes.

We have been very fortunte to have entries for 4-5 states every year and we hope to break the 100 entry barrier this year.

Entries are quickly coming in for this years qualifier ...Last years event put 18 bowlers into the PBA torunament and we are hoping to go over the 100 entry mark this year thus putting 20+ into this years event. Keep in mind we host both a PBA and PBA50 event the same weekend and in our qualifier those bowlers 50 and over only compete against others 50 and over for spots in the PBA50 event. Early bird paid entry before 4/18 will save you $10 at $70 ...after 4/18 entry fee goes up to $80. Walk ins are welcome if spots are available tournemtn fills at 120 entries!

Satellite Qualifier this weekend $30 entry gets you 4 games on the PBA Earl Anthony Pattern and a low cost chance to win a spot into the PBA qualifier held April 27th. LAst year we had 48 entries in this one and 86 in the main qualifier.

Scores are in from Todays Satellite qualifier event!!! Top 10 received spots into next weeks 5 game PBA qualifier at Rebman Recreation in Lorain! Scores were for 4 games and were VERY LOW!
