we where in first by 14 points three weeks ago and now we are in second back by 4 points need to over come these loses tonight

We were in 2nd place, only 2 points behind, for the 2nd half of league season only 3 weeks ago. We went through a 3 week period in which we scored exactly ZERO points and fell down somewhere around 4th from bottom. We have the lowest scratch average in the league and 3 of our bowlers are really novice, using plastic only. Most every other team has 1 or more high average bowlers rolling well over 200. It seems the handicap system in bowling, unlike that of golf, is not particularly fair. Tailored to give the better bowler the edge. Depending on how high the average, the larger the edge. I'm honestly not complaining. We do this because its fun, no real expectations of winning, but I do feel they should reevaluate the way handicaps are calculated.
We're tied for second, one point out of first. Not far ahead of lower-placed teams.
dead last....and have been all year.
I consistently hit my 204 average every week....the 2 guys on my team with 160 averages can't do the same.
If they could start bowling consistently over their average, we'd make a killing with their handicap.

Sunday night PBA Sports League we are in last place. I got into this league late and was placed on a team that thinks there playing water polo........ 120 avg and 109 avg OMG help me....

Bill, could you explain how your team mates think it's water polo? I don't understand the analogy if there is one(to bowling).
Just that they could be playing anything and give the I don't care attitude so who knows what there thinking. They look at me like I'm crazy when I try to help them. Maybe there martians? hmmm
I'm just ribing, they are there for somthin to do, at least there getting out..

My team is in first place in our Thursday league, have been most of the season, dont know how with my scores lately, good job I have a great bowling team mate.
Holy crap! My team actually got out of last place! We're moving on up...7th place out of 8 teams lol
We're 3 games out of 6th, and we won 3 games last night...so we may even finish 6th depending on how the other team did.
