Thread: First 800

    Default First 800

Well after 5 years of hanging onto my 798 that ate away at me, I've finally gotten that 800.

Last Tuesday in our Peterson League, I went :

276, 266, then had to switch lanes as we bowl 2, switch and finish on another pair, and shot a 264 = 806.

Granted I started with the front 8 on the third game, threw it a pinch slow and left the 3-6-10, which I chopped forcing me to double for a chance for the 800... I guess you could say I enjoy being under pressure haha.

So I have my 298, 299 and 300 plaques, 300 ring and 800 ring coming.

I guess I just hold out hope the 900 is doable as it's the only one left haha.

PS, Ball used was my IQ Tour Pearl

Excellent bowling. Congrats to you on the achievement!

Still waiting for mine to happen. Get up 2 good games, then the last always gets me. Think my issue is mental as I think about it too much.

Only 5 years, that's barely a nibble. Mine (791) has been eating at me for 24 years.

    Ouch.

Considering I'm 26 it's hard to comprehend having that for almost my whole life. It'll come!

Great bowling! Especially under pressure at the end of the third game.

    Thanks guys!

Only dumb thing now, is my wrist has been killing, find out middle ringer was drilled long on my IQ leading to pain and VIVID has a pitch issue causing thumb pain.. so fresh off of an 800 and being within 2 points of first in the league, I now bowl #1 bowler tomorrow and all I have is my Freak'N Frantic I drilled got this Satruday with like 2 games under my belt with it... My other 2 balls wont be ready until Wednesday.,. but I am liking the Switch grip I changed too!

    Thanks man.

I got that IQTP and HATED it when I got it drilled, so over-under, couldnt find a constant spot anywhere. Then like magic it just started to work, and god damn when it hits, its like a ton of bricks. First ball out of the bag now.
