OK, I never said my delivery was pretty and I would never teach it. Once on the lane though, my ball looks good. This is a video of my new Karma on 42 ft of fresh oil. I have a piece of tape located pretty close to my PAP. The guy who drilled the ball claimed that I had very little axis rotation and come straight up the back of the ball. He watched me throw six games with a dark colored ball that you can't really see the rotation.
I think it is pretty obvious from this one shot that I have at least 45 degrees axis rotation. Pausing the video at :24 shows the position of my PAP at release.
This ball worked good for about six games then really struggled with the carry down. Projecting it further right to catch the dry got a huge over/under reaction. If I played more up the oil it would never flip. I switched to a ball that rolled much earlier and it got through the carry down just fine. That ball, however is highly polished and requires constant maintenance to keep it that way. I just wanted to buy something that would react similar but just require cleaning, not polishing. The Karma is drilled to go long with the pin 5" from my PAP.
