what happened to Pocket Penny? Did she not accept the offer? I think Storm could make a ball that rolls straight doesn't snap hard or go long and smells like moth balls

What do you want someone like Kelly Kulick throwing the ball where the problem with this is very few women will be able to throw the ball like her. So you will hear the same gripes as you hear with the men demo's. Why cant they ever do a demo with someone that throws like me? Well I say just go off of Curley's videos since he has slow ball speed and low revs I know several women in my area that throws harder and with more rev's then him.

really, throw harder then Curley!? What are you feeding them there women, raw-red-meat!!!

I still say their is a market for women, and many would go to a site that SIMPLY out of respect for their unique wonderful lack of speed, and rev's, could see the new releases on a level comparable to their bowling!

I think Lane side review should jump on this band wagon! Then they would have a:

    1. high speed and rev guy

    2. medium speed and rev guy

    3. an old burnt up fart

    4. and last but not least, the most over looked bowler in America,,, a WOMAN!

I rest my case!! Look for this to happen in the near future..... THE TIME IS RIPE for it!!!

Let's start Iceman / Mudpuppy ball reviews. We can cover all the bases. I will go to the Gentlemen's club tonight as a "talent scout" to see if there are any such women that bowl and want to make videos - BOWLING VIDEOS! If anyone wants to contribute to the cause please paypal us money to iceman_mudpuppy@legendary.com

I think you overly rely on "pro shop guy". They tend to have A LOT of knowledge...but they're working in a pro shop (rather than bowling in the PBA) for a reason. They may be able to help a beginner or casual league bowler buy something that is going to a good match for their style. But an advanced bowler should already know what they need or don't need. IMO.

Probably. There were a couple times she was bent forward sitting on the couch and I almost got "caught" looking down the back of her drawers. But hey...wear pants that fit and you wouldn't have that problem.

GREAT idea mud,,, ( don't mind if I cut down on the typing do ya) LOL When you go the gentleman's club make sure:
    1. they can bowl in high heels

    2. Nice bowling outfit, similar to the blond in the tread a ways back

    that's about it!!!

Its not only what Good Hard working bowling women want, but its also what Aslan wants!!! Bowling Hot Chicks, demoing the new bowling balls, in skimpy swim ware, (secondary way of advertising besides the bowling ball), showing the women, and men not of the girly kind the ball movement on the lanes!!

Send money to: Real World Bowling demo's not of the professional bowing kind, but exotic, eye candy type! in care of Muddpuppy/Iceman

Several Columbia 300 videos feature Missy Parkin, Christina Hardee, and Josie Earnest. I bowl more consistently when I set the ball down with out much loft and slower ball speed, so I actually learn more about how to translate their ball reactions to my game than I do from many of the guys in videos.

I totally disagree with this! Depending on who you choose for your ball drilling. I, for one, chose the best guy in town. Credentials include, but not limited too, x-PBA bowler, drills balls for beginners and PBA bowlers - and everyone in between, ball rep at some of the regional tournaments, and most of all - he KNOWS ball drilling! Also, with his family he WANTS to own the pro shop - not be travelling on the tour, at this time of his life. And, I can't say I blame him.

Do I rely on him, yes, but I also rely on my coach, as well as my own research. And, I rarely watch a ball review, and yet, I doubt I would even if it was a woman, as most review videos they are usually only showing strikes - not margins of error. Motiv has a female reviewer...think her name is Angela. Nice videos that I remember.

there you go people who think only men are needed for ball reviews! This needs to be addressed! I have sent an email to Lane side review! Hope to get this wrong, made right!

When I watch older Hammer ball reviews, they have a female bowler and actually SHE is the one I most want to watch because she's lower rev/10-board type of player.

One thing I've started to believe (right or wrong)...and don't tell the ball manufacturers I said this....but the ball doesn't really matter much. People buy a ball cuz it looks cool or they heard good things...but at the end of the day...with some exceptions, you can change how it behaves with drilling and surface changes...so if Iceman buys a BYTE and MWhite buys a Mastermind...by the time they have it drilled...they could behave EXACTLY the same.

I buy based on whats on special/clearance. Balls tend to plummet in value after about 2 years after their release date. And technology hasn't changed much over the past 4-6 years. So why pay $385 for a new release drilled when you can buy a ball, very similar, sometimes even the same core...for $78.95 (< $120 drilled)?? Doesn't make sense to me.
