A "Spike" with "Deadly Aim" would make for a formidable arsenal. It would put, shall we say, a ... hole in the pins?

Now at the NEW Bowling extablishment where I bowl, Gladstone lanes, (Brunswick, which is new to Ice, I have decided on the summer league to
start narrowing it down to the balls I will be using this coming Fall, when I bowl for the Big Marbles!!

This DEADLY AIM is by far one of the hotter balls I have purchased in some time.

As I have mentioned the AMF lanes were very good to me... LOL.. and Aslan will testify to that, ( he FRICKEN brings it up ALL THE TIME!)

These Brunswick lanes are turning out to be VERY GOOD TO ICEMAN, at 65 years old too!! LOL Sure I might not look 65, and have the body of a 29 year old, Rock Hard simi solid,,,,, But then I am ICEMAN! (

Since second game last week I have used ONLY the Deadly Aim, and my spare ball with that new technique of palm UP release!

    233, 258, 211, 255, 218 two different nights 4 different lanes... average 235

I will keep this thread updated each week as to the Good, the Bad, and the ugly!!

So far since pulling it out, and staying with it I must say,,,, the FRICKEN BALL is REMARKABLE!

TIME WILL TELL.... stay tuned!! LOL

Well tonight I played the whole first game with the Byte.... DON"T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT! Too Snap,,, hockey stick for Ice! But then I was playing the outside not the inside, why?????? Threw a few good ones and thought it might be the night for it, being a new ball I would like to get some use out of it!!! Too erratic playing the outside.

THEN AS GOD, and Geneo2u, on this site will testify I pulled the DEADLY AIM OUT, and 233, and 230! Last game could easily have been in the 250s, but lost my balance in the tenth frame working on a turkey... did pick the spare up!

So for 3 WEEKS NOW MY AVERAGE WITH THE DEADLY AIM is 233, 258, 211, 255, 218, and tonight 233, and 230! USING IT ONLY for 7 games
    3 week usage,
    234

Geno2u on this website was my witness! WOW,,, WHAT A FRICKEN PIN DESTROYING BALL IN ICEMANS HANDS! It was made for ME!!
I really think I am going to order a couple more.... can't even imagine, or even want any improvements. ITS PERFECT FOR ME GAME!

Geneo2u purchased one and then smashed his middle and ring finger hooking up a boat!! I know when he gets back he will be tearing up the wood.
Gene is a great bowler, average around 220, some a little higher!

Remember ASLAN,,, "THIS IS A NEW ESTABLISHEMENT... not the AMF that you thought was easy.....!! EASY WHEN YOUR ICEMAN!!! LOL,, LOL
    GREAT NIGHT...

Congrats on the great scoring with that deadly aim. You've got to keep that byte in some oil or it will hook all the way around and come back to byte you.

Gene, on this website,,,,LOL,,, said Iceman, leave that damn Byte, and all your other balls at home next week, just bring the DEADLY AIM, and your spare ball. LOL

Hey the only reason I use the Byte for the first game was too justify the money I spent!, But throwing the same line, (which looked good in practice), just wasn't as consistent as THE.....

BEAUTIFUL smooth arc THE DEADLY AIM GIVES ME! SOMETHING BIG IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH THIS BALL!! I KNOW IT!!! (

Again in defense of the Byte, I need to work on the inside game with it going through and across the oil, as you said Amyers,,, it does work, and need oil! Where as the Deadly Aim, on house oil at this Brunswick lane works like a CHAMP!!

As long as that deadly aim is working I would continue to throw it in leagues and tournaments but I would continue to practice with that byte you never know when your going to need that inside line. Especially if you bowl 5 man teams this fall being able to throw that inside line can be a life saver.

Default Something Else in regards to the DEADLY AIM

I was a little nervous, for the first time on this ball, I did a total resurface: 500, 1000, 2000, 4000, and reacta shine!

I was hoping it didn't destroy the MAGIC,,, and it didn't and it good for another 30 game or so!!!

Thanks Bowl1820 for all the good info on ball restoration!!

your absolutely right Amyers,,, I do plan on keeping it, and working the new area to me,,, ( THE INSIDE)! I will be having a few coaching lessons in the near future from a good friend that I have bowled for as a sub. Hoping he can help me on the Inside!

It's an adjustment I have a tendency to get caught up playing inside or with very tight lines when I would be better off moving outside or bellying it out a little more.

Many of us aging bowlers don't have any difficulty bellying it out...
