I've heard way more good and virtually no bad about the First Blood. I've heard people that LOVE the Deadly Aim (like tcc and Iceman) and I've heard people that have tried it and said it was the worst ball they've ever thrown.

I'd add the Mastermind to that list as well. I don't know about the Mastermind Genius, but I've heard people that LOVE the Mastermind and from people that think it's way too strong and uncontrollable.

The Zero Gravity, IQ Fusion, and newer Storm stuff seems to be getting nothing but good reviews though. Not sure if thats typical Storm hype/marketing or if it's legit.

As usual...heard nothing from Columbia, Ebonite, Track, or 900Global. I thought the Reaxx balls looked sweet and would sell like crazy, but thus far I'm starting to see them hit the clearance racks so sales must not have went as planned.

I personally would add the Hyper Cell to the list to consider, I personally really liked the Cell cores back when it was the original Cell and the Rogue and this ball rolls well for me. I can say that the IQ fusion isn't hype and I think it rolls really well (can't speak for the other IQs or the other new Storm Equipment).

Site isn't letting me edit/delete my prior post.

Between those two balls (the First Blood or the Deadly Aim) I have heard pretty good things about the Deadly Aim. I talked to a few people who had the ball and have heard pretty good things overall, as for the First Blood I haven't heard the same "excitement" from the people who throw it.

The "excitement" typically dies down after about 6 months of ball being released. Since First Blood was released back in 2013 it just doesn't get drilled up as much any more. First Blood is what has really opened my game up in the last year since owning it.

Yeah. I don't think you get much "hype" after about 2-3 months of being released. I'd say the First Blood is sort of like the Hy Road. It's going to be around for a long time and people are gonna love it...but you won't hear too much about them.

Completely agree that the excitement dies down after a few months, I should of qualified that the "excitement" or lack there of I was referring to was soon after the initial release, not really at this point and time. I don't think its longevity will be comparable to that of the Hy-Road because it is more of a high end of the bag ball rather than a benchmark ball.

I'm actually surprised the deadly aim has gotten as much attention given the black widow assassin being released about the same time. I figured with the black widow mark, it would have overshadowed the deadly aim…but I don't think I've seen more than one person with the new black widow.

I think alot of the hype with the deadly aim is the addition of carbon fiber infused in the coverstock and maybe it not that big of a difference but I think the pins move differently when they are scattering and carries a extra strike or two a game because of it.

According to my neighbor bowling is way too easy now with the new balls. It's like t-ball he says. Well tee it up there tough guy and come bowl on Tuesdays - see how easy it is when you bowl against 7-10 people throwing 700+ every Tuesday.

Its the new technology in my opinion, and seeing people on the lanes bowing good numbers with it. IMHA, its a unique ball among so many clones!

IS IT THE BEST BALL OUT THERE...... well the best ball is THE ONE THAT WORKS FOR YOU!! LOL Again, I believe drilling a ball to suit YOU is maybe almost as important as the ball!
