Can't use the house you bowled at in April. Jeral can have it on his list since he didn't technically draw it (Green Country)...but you'll need to add one more.

Agreed. I've bowled at "Thunderbird Lanes" but not Thunderbowl. I also had a "must have" in terms of Fountain Bowl as I believe they have had PBA events there as well. And that was what was cool about playing in Vegas...lots of those casino/lanes have hosted those kind of events.

The real question is - when are we going to bowl in vegas for the ultimate tournament? every missed spare is a shot. every time the other person strikes and you don't beer chug for 3 seconds. would we make it through 3 games?

I don't think I'd make it past the 2nd frame of the 2nd game.

I'm fairly confident I could make it through 3 games, but my bowling ability would have very little to do with it

It wouldn't be about bowling. It would be more for the benefit of the good of mankind, lol.

So it looks like I have 3 that are fairly close, and the others are all in the 60 - 80+ mile range...ugh

    1. Mira Mesa Lanes
    2. Brunswick Premier Lanes
    3. Parkway Bowl
    4. Pechanga Rec Center
    5. Temecula Lanes
    6. Cal Oaks Bowl

Quick question, did you leave Surf Bowl up in Oceanside off for a specific reason? If not, I'd like to swap that one in for another one of my farther choices as Surf is only about 45 miles from me which is a lot closer than choices 4 - 6.

Actually no...but when choosing the California centers I did not use the same technique because the California USBC is so nicely split into regional USBCs. Unfortunately, Surf Bowl did not show up in OCUSBC nor San Diego USBC. It is listed as "North County USBC" which I couldn't find any information on other than yellow pages and yelp. However, I have recently found their USBC page and it gives you 4 more suitable options (if you choose):

    14 Vista Lanes
    15 Surf Bowl
    16 Poway Bowl
17 AMF Eagle Lanes San Marcos

All are still too far for the mandatory physical pairing to take place, but certainly allows you a more reasonable selection in terms of distances.
