I saw it when it was playing in the theaters....me and my buddy were the only two in the theater watching it.....it was an excellent documentary, and I've since watched it again on DVD.

Spoke earlier in the thread about Wayne Webb. While in Reno bowling in the USBC Open, Wayne Webb had a team that bowled in our same squad. Pretty cool, we finished early and watched him finish up, he shot a 767, very good bowler that wears interesting printed pants.

It's a cool flick. It doesn't do much to promote the sport of bowling though...

Default changed my mind about PETE!

You know I didn't care much for pete weber until I watched this movie. Now,,,, I think he is OK! LOL Its a tough life being a bowling PRO, with very little MONEY to make. ONLY the few seem to make a good living!

I agree. I still think Pete is a jerk and Walter Ray comes off as extremely arrogant. I understand the point of the film was to show how far the PBA tour has fallen out of the general public's eye. But I feel like it should have made an effort to show how athletic and skilled these guys are.

For some reason, non-golfers can watch golf and think that Tiger Woods is amazing. But when a non-bowler watches the PBA they don't see what the big deal is...
