The rumor I'm starting is that he quit bowling and took up curling.

Well I can't say I've ever actually seen curling to know if I would be good at it or not but at least it is in the Olympics. I decided to take some time off from bowling for a week and stay off of here a little bit I think I was getting in my head too much. I know your familiar with that problem. every now and then you need to take a step back and remember its about throwing the damn ball. I'll post some scores in a bit.

Excellent point Amyers! People who live and breathe this site and calculating every nuance of their bowling, are usually the ones whom struggle the most.

Taking a break is a GOOD thing and eager to hear how you do when ready.

    Friday Night Mixed League 11/14/14

Well after taking some time off to clear the head and get a little needed rest between the cold I had and work I think I was just exhausted it was time to get back to bowling. My team had an interesting night we were matched up against the #1 team in our league who also has the highest team average on our league.

Game 1- 198 This was actually a really good game could have been much higher had a pocket 7-10 and one bad shot that went high for a 6-7-10 split or it would have been lights out. My team crushed them.

Game 2- 249 Just shot really well this game lots of strikes and made my spares just one of those games that the ball reaction was just perfect. My wife who is bowling left handed this season due to injury on my team shot a 238 (average around 108) For a 337 handicap game highest I've ever seen. Needless to say we destroyed them

Game 3- 177 It was evident at the end of game 2 that my line was gone so I switched to the Euphoria. I had a power guy throwing inside of me but at my breakpoint and another guy throwing on my line which is unusual for me. I'm usually inside of the outside guys but not as much in the puddle as the power guys. I had a hard time I think I need to change the surface on my Euphoria back to the OOB I took it down to 2000 before I got the asylum and haven't ever switched it back and they are just too close right now. I had to move way inside and when I play that far inside with the Euphoria its 7 or 10 pin city for me. Shot my spares well and salvaged a decent game out of it though.

624 Series and we won all four points and beat them by over 300 pins. I was pretty happy with the way I bowled I just wish I had more answers for that third game. I knew I needed to do something but I just never found anything that worked.

Yeah she's only been bowling for about a year and was up to about a 140 average righty and came down with a serious case of carpel tunnel so she has switched to lefty been bowling that way for about 3 months. she started off with an old plastic drilled conventional righty. I bought her a used Seismic Euphoric and had it drilled conventional lefty for her about a month ago and she has been doing better about 120 average but nothing like that 237 she had 7 strikes in a row at one point

I have serious carpel tunnel in my right hand and bowl righty. I'm trying to put off surgery until after bowling season (sad huh?).

I would rather bowl with my right hand though than even try left handed.

Boy, I wonder how I would do after surgery??

Sunday night Win, Lose or Draw League 11/16/14

I had been ranked in 4th in this league but I have fallen back to the middle of the pack over the last three weeks due to poor bowling and not drawing good teammates. Hoping for a comeback tonight.

Game 1- 217 would have been clean except for a missed 10 pin in the 7th ball was looking really good coming off my hand

Game 2- 226 Continued to throw well was a missed 7 pin in the 9th from a clean game

Game 3- 203 This game should have been higher had a pocket 7-10 and anther missed 10 pin

646 Series threw the ball great all night maybe the best my strike ball has ever looked going down the lane. Seems as if I got my mojo back a little can't say I have been bowling terrible the last few weeks or anything but the ball just hasn't looked right before this week for a couple of weeks its nice to be back. Had not of been for that pocket 7-10 and the 3 missed spares I could have been at 700 tonight.

My right wrist started bothering me over the summer, it's pretty early on but if you want to try something simple just switch the mouse on your computer to your left hand. It takes some getting used to but it took about 90% of the stress off my right hand/wrist/arm and it feels fresh and strong for bowling :P Figure it might be worth a shot.
