3 steady games and a 686, well done Amyers. I like that you are doing the 3/2 move. Unless I read something else, I am thinking you rolled the Asylum.

Sunday Win, Lose, or Draw League 1/11/15

Struggling in this league somewhat my average is higher in this (193) than my other one and I feel kind of caught in the middle between the lots of handicap people and the high level bowlers. Currently 10th out of 29.

Game 1- 246 Started off hot and just kept it going clean game

Game 2- 205 Started off well I felt like my line was leaving and I made a 3/2 adjustment left but started hitting weak.

Game 3- 159 The wheels fell off I couldn't seem to find a line that was working for me seemed over under and then I started missing spares.

I took three out of 6 points tonight which was better than have the last few weeks in this league ended up with a 610 but felt bad about the way I finished.

After a night like that when as you stated " the wheels fell off " it is important to sit down and go over your set. Ask your self all the questions and go over your decisions and what you could have done differently. Of course you can only speculate what the outcome would have been with a different ball or line etc. Still after a disappointing night 610 is not bad.

    Wednesday Pre-Tournament Practice 1/14/15

I will be bowling a tournament this Sunday with my kids at Town and Country lanes so I wanted to go bowl there some as I don't bowl at this alley very often. The oil pattern seems to be longer, heavier and more flat towards the edges than I'm used too. Had to play farther right than is normal for me almost to the point of being uncomfortable with the area I am playing.

Game 1- 189 Started off playing between the second and third arrow and was leaving a lot of single pin spares picked most of them up

Game 2- 175 Moved farther right playing over the second arrow still not getting a very good look at the pocket

Game 3- 159 My wife actually beat me this game never happen before she had a 165. I think the shot was starting to get in my head a little

Game 4- 188 Moved farther right playing between the 1st and 2nd arrow seemed to help and had a little better angle to the pocket

Game 5- 196 again looked a little better

Game 6- 195 Got myself a little messed up at the beginning of this game finished up throwing the last 5 in a row to salvage a decent game

All in all I guess a decent session but I think If I was playing here consistently I would need to add some surface or buy a stronger ball than the asylum. This was bowled on the night before oil I'm afraid I'm not going to like what I see when I'm bowling these lanes on the fresh.
