I hear ya on all counts summer bowling to me is what I call (practice) time. You work on timing footwork ,release and change balls and lines.
All the while you will find the regulars the ones I call are like gym rats in your center all the time like me.When the fall leagues roll around you will
have a solid foundation to work with and with some they will talk to you just to get you destracted but some will see improvements the biggest is work on your mental game learn to let it go roll off your shoulders. Putting a solid team is key for good chemistry and they can push you harder too.Like most up here when I practice and having distractions only make me stronger mentally and that's where it starts and ends on getting better.
