Smile First time at the lanes following surgery....

Hi everyone. As many of you may remember, I herniated my L-2 and L-5 in January of this year and also had surgery on my left knee (read - sliding leg knee) on February 17. Since then I have been rehabbing both and had to take a break from bowling. Yesterday I hied off to the bowling center to sub for the first time since January 8. I got through all three games and didn't hurt anybody, nor myself. My scores were 193, 216, 213 for a 622 - "nothing to write home" about, but it was fun. My timing was dreadful; I stepped out of every shot I can remember but 3 or 4; my knee and back held up just fine, today the top of my right shoulder is killing me and my left hip is killing me. In other words, I feel fine and couldn't be much happier!

Lads and lasses, it's good to be back!

Nothing to write home about? A lot of folks here would like to have those scores and series. There are folks here that are glad when they hit a 500 scratch series yet alone a 600 or better scratch series. Welcome back and hope your rehab works out okay.

Welcome back and if that is your starting point then I definitely wouldn't want to bowl you when you hit 100%
