We have quite a few throwing the old urethane faball hammers and a few rhinos. I miss my old blue polished urethane hammer I don't know how it would do on the newer oils and patterns but back in the day it was magic

I was referring to the pearl version I have an original faball blue hammer in the closet I never liked it, most people preferred the surfaced version I didn't I tried polishing it and it didn't work for me either. They were different formulations on the cover stocks.

I'm not familiar with the original. But the remake looks very nice, if you need to fill that hole in your arsenal.

Thanks for the replys everyone. Maybe I'll take it to the ally this week and give it a try. I've bee. Learning to hook the ball with no thumb. I am being taught by a buddy of mine. I could not seen to get my hook good using my thumb. I seem to flick the ball. I need to keep my wrist curved and the ball at 10 o'clock. Also my approach needs some work. Most likely I'll end up selling it. Is it worth much?

take it to your pro shop and tell them to re drill it for you
they will love you cause drilling them old rubber balls makes the shop smell oh so sweet
there is people still throwing those old hunks of poo

The guy who drilled it at the center where I bought it, owns the center I go to now. I'd try to have him redrill it for me, just to see if he remembers it from all those years ago...
