IQ tour pearl probably... it's just a beast of burden when it comes to consistency.
They said it usually takes 1-2 weeks for Storm to ship it out. I'll have it drilled up some time afterward. I'll have to see how the Misfit throws in order to decide how I may want the IQ drilled. I don't want to take too long, but I want to have two different balls -- not variations of the same ball!

Agreed.
I haven't thrown the IQ Fusion but I have the First Blood and HyRoad Pearl that are higher performance than the Misfit.
I ordered a 12lb Misfit after surgery last summer. I normally throw 14lbs. I don't know if it was the weight difference or the generic core but the Misfit just didn't have the hitting power I was used to. It seemed to be hallow on hits.
I rolled it for about a month and half after I was able to bowl. Luckily, I was able to move back up to 14 pretty quickly. I gave the ball to a Special Olympics bowler who an ex co-worker of mine was coaching. She won a Gold Medal at the Winter Games last December using the Misfit. Pretty cool!

I love my mastermind![]()
Yes, I know there will be a difference with a weight drop but this was more the sound of the hit. Very hallow I believe due to the generic core.
Chels won a Gold Medal with it so maybe there's hope for you too!!
I heard the Fusion isn't the best fit for lower speed bowlers. It will be interesting to see what your experience is with both the Fusion and Misfit.

We'll see. I've resigned myself to the fact that physical limitations also imply game limitations. But, all in all, I'd rather be throwing bowling balls a little ineffectually than not throwing them at all. Who knows? With time, I may still be able to both increase my speed and go back up to 14#. We'll just have to see how the bursitis and back hold out...
