I am light years better at golf than bowling even though that is not a fair comparison. Have not spent near as much time working on the bowling technique yet as I have golf. It has been over 1 year since I have even touched my golf clubs and can still pick them up at any given time, walk out on the course and shoot par.

Bowling bad just so your team places lower and gets less money, so that they get less money would be senseless. You would be losing money yourself and if you have any other team members your taking money away from them just because you are mad at those two.

Why don't you just ask the people the questions you are wondering about?

    It could be a misunderstanding.

Or it could be that these are a couple of the myriad of really crappy people out there.

But whatever, I will finish my season and then move on to a different league without them. My membership at this house will soon be terminated as well. Given this a lot of thought and quite frankly I would rather have the money to play a round of golf instead of unlimited bowling.
Man they asked you advice on it and then bought it from someone else. Now that is low class. I still wouldn't tank but yeah I might quit and I would not have anything else to do with them. That sucks big ones

That is always a tricky situation. I buy a lot of balls online because I get them on clearance for super bargains. And many are discontinued models...so not really available to buy in the pro shop anyways. But I still feel like the pro shop guy at my center doesn't like me anymore because he knows I have 2 balls that I got somewhere else and had drilled somewhere else. Even though, when it came time to start my new team...I sent him 4 players who bought shoes, balls, bags, and one got a lesson. AND...I probably will buy my daughter a ball from him and have him drill it. So it's not like I haven't supported him.

And I have to worry about MWhite....gotta make sure I don't tick him off...if I do, I gotta drive all the way to VEGAS to get a ball tri-grip drilled!! That would suck. And I'd probably have to play some outrageous "vegas price" to get it drilled. So I gotta make sure I only irritate MWhite "just enough"...but not too much. Otherwise I have to choose between an inferior ball driller or a long *** trip to Vegas. That, Or MWhite drills my ball left handed or upside down. That would suck.

My pro shop guy was stoked that I won the IQ. He seems to be pretty low key about that sort of thing.

My pro shop guy was happy for me even offered me a discount on drilling it for me 30 vs $40 he normally charges for outside balls. He has even looked up stuff on the net that I've asked him about and told me where I could get it cheaper. He did that to try and save me money on my shoes but I bought them from him anyway. Can't beat somebody who takes care of you.

If you said you won the ball in a league raffle/online contest or something, would he have been as offended? Just seems like something really petty to get that upset about...

I'm also kind of wondering about the car thing. Call me cynical (or hopeful) but any idea if the salesman who did help them just said "oh yeah TotallyDefiant said you should work with me, it's all good!"? That might be something worth asking and depending on your answer you know what kind of people they (or your coworker) are...
