    Default Ruckus!! Needs help

ok, I thought this was going to be a nice gradual curve into the pocket! Instead it goes down the lane on house oil like most of my pearl balls, and then does a big snap into the pocket at the end.

For some that might be just what they are looking for, but I have several balls that.

What do I need to do to the surface to make it a more controlled gradual arc to the pocket?

Take it down to 500, and no polish? Doesn't polish keep a ball from starting that early move?

This was probably not the RIGHT BALL to do a pin down. But the driller decided to do it, and surprised me.

Michael I think your looking down the wrong road here the ruckus was designed to be a skid flip medium heavy oil ball it really wasn't designed to be a gradual arc ball. I don't think you ever get the best performance from trying to change what a ball was meant to be. I would maybe try it at 2000 no polish and see if that works for you I've never been a big fan of throwing balls with less than 1500 for me they destroy the pattern too quickly and have a tendency to burn up on me.

You might look into trading it or selling it if it dose t fit in your lineup.

I don't know if he has ever posted a list of all of them. Probably can't do to post size constraints.

I think Amyers is pretty spot on, the thing you could try like he said was making it a duller surface and no polish

I agree, as well. It's like trying to modify a Peterbilt for dirt track sprint racing. Or a scooter to haul a load of steel I-beams. It just doesn't work well that way.

Default This was not my idea!!!

PIN DOWN >>>> ITs like trying to make a submarine, be a top of water craft! Sure it can do it, but not designed to be on TOP,,,,,,, OR IS IT??? read below please....

JAMES, who use to be my driller, decided to do it based on the drilling RECOMMENDED on by DV-8! He didn't pull the layout out of his ask?

Go to bowlingball.com and you will see this layout as one option.

ICEMAN did not ask for a pin down, it was a surprise! James ask me how I wanted it drilled, I said: ( surprise me!) He sure did!!

AGAIN it is not trying to make the ball do something it was not designed to do, its one of DV8's recommended layout!
