Default Got a Roto Grip Hyper Cell

So my best buddies' brother was bowling summer league with us and bought a NIB #15 Hyper Cell a couple of months ago and had it drilled up for him. He threw it maybe 30 games then quit bowling with us and moved. Well he left it with his brother and I mentioned I wanted it since I am planning on moving up to #15 gear over the next year and so today my buddy gave it to me. Dropped it off with my PSO for a plug and re-drill. It will be replacing my heavy oil ball which is currently a #14 Critical Theory I bought used last year on it's 5th drill. From what I can tell the Hyper Cell should have a very similar reaction to the Critical Theory which I enjoy throwing on Sport and Challenge shots right now.

I really like mine(used it for my 807 series back in June). Works beautifully on many conditions. Heavier conditions like the USBC Team event pattern and also works on a burned pattern too. Rolled an 8 gamer tournament this past weekend and used it the first 3 games and then the last 2 afte the lanes had transitioned so badly. We moved every 2 games.

The hyper cell is a little stronger earlier and a little more even than the critical theory from what I've seen.

Good to know. I had it drilled pin up just over my ring finger.

Picked it up from my PSO today after a plug and re-drill. Threw it some on Dead Man's Curve and it is a little stronger then the Critical Theory and i need to adjust to it being a #15 since I normally throw #14.

You sir are correct! It is stronger and earlier than the Critical Theory but felt really good when I got used to it.

Hyper Cell is one of those great balls on the market (for the right person) right now that just never seem to get old. Hyper Cell, Primal Rage, IQ tour Fusion, Hyroad are all balls you will still see people throwing ten years from now. I'm sure there are more lots of good stuff out these are just the ones I see the most in the lanes I go to.
