    3. I don't like most people, so the fewer to deal with the better! 4. Home much earlier! 5. Less fricken balls in the ball rack,,, doesn't take me as long to find mine. Did I say I didn't like real people much??? LOL
Keeping a team together is not nearly as difficult when you just have One other bowler!

BETTER SCORES due to ALL THE ABOVE.... ( good luck ice
I don't know I seem to bowl better on the larger team formats. Maybe it is the slower pace that helps me.

This all depends on the shot if you are bowling on a heavier shot you need more people to help break the shot down and light oil shot with 10 people on the pair and it will be lanes will be fried pretty quick

Good Point TCCSTUDENT. I know I bowl 3 leagues all in the same house. One doubles one three man teams and one four man mixed. my average is 15 pins higher on the three an four man leagues than it is on the doubles league.

HAHA! Yeah we both think it will be good for us since we tend to bowl our better games practicing with just 2-4 people because we move faster and are able to repeat shots easier when we aren't waiting for that one player who is never their for his/her shot. Also since I am 80% deaf I tend to avoid people for the most part anyways however bowling has helped me make some new friends.

Our house shot used in all but the sport/challenge league is a medium/light shot. I just learned that a couple of weeks ago after bowling in a tournament in Huntsville that said it was a THS but felt really heavy compared to what I normally bowl on and sure enough their shot was a heavy house shot.

I wish I could afford to bowl in more than one league per season but times are tough.

I have the opposite happen with team mates. I have more people asking to bowl than I can in a week. I bowl on Tuesdays, Thursdays and I am considering a Saturday travel league. Have people asking me to bowl Sunday, Monday, Wednesday's as well. Wish I could bowl every night of the week, but the wife would certainly not like that at all.

Haha nice! We did get invited to bowl at a larger house owned by the same owner of my local house with a bigger payout but it is a 3 hour drive round trip and I would rather stay with my local alley that is literally 5 minutes up the road from me.

Can't blame you for that. I wouldn't drive that far on a weekly basis. Weekend tournaments yes, but not weekly league.
