    Practice! Practice! Practice!

I started bowling in May 2013 so just a little over a year ago. When I first started I was like you I could only throw straight and wanted to learn to hook. First thing I did was buy a #12 Ebonite Crush/R and my own shoes. I was lucky if I could bowl 100 and was horrible. My best advice for you now that you have the ball is just practice. A little over a year of bowling and I now throw a #14 DV8 Diva Pearl, have a 161 average and 242 high game in my summer league.

I think the teal is a good and bad idea just because its a conventional grip so it won't be like the fingertip grip you'll eventually want to get an easier time to hook the ball unless you got a sean rash like grip. I think the teal was urethane? not sure but i think it was a lesser reaction so its good on accuracy, but i recommend a cyclone...its cheap (some places will sell for like $50) and it'll have more hook than the rhino and you can have it drilled for finger tip

    Thanks for the motivation Konvict!

Joker: I ended up buying a Roto Grip Shout this afternoon and I ended up putting the Teal Rhino Pro up on eBay to try and get money for bowling shoes
