I usually strike at will during practice and then shoot a buck sixty the first game. It's not until the third game in league that I usually have a decent shot.

    OR

maybe it WASN'T maybe it WAS!!

Lets just say that unlike the start on the first pair of lanes, that were hot right off the start! The second pair of fresh lanes were very different, and everyone seemed to have problems! EVEN YOU BOWLING GOD,,,, Rob!!! I have to say, Aslan didn't seem to have any problems with his spares on the new lanes??? (:?) Maybe he was throwing plastic!!

Rob,,, what do you think would happen with the Deadly Aim if I took the polish off? Would it burn up too fast? I was thinking about doing a refresh on my Deadly aim,,, going 500, 1000, 2000, and 4000! NO POLISH,,, Your thoughts? I am going to leave yours the way it is, after using it Tuesdays afternoon and having that 224 games.

One thing I have noticed is that matte balls/solid balls absorb a heck of a lot more oil from the lanes. I use a spinner after I get home from bowling to clean the balls with simply green, and alcohol HUGE difference on the rag! Much more oil comes out of the non-polished balls! So I would expect the life expectancy would be much shorter, and thus need to be de-oiled much sooner, then a polished ball. (by life expectancy, I mean reach that point of going limp on the lanes due to oil)

Where did Mike get $50?? And why would he want a lane change when he pretty much crushed the field in qualifying?? He probably wanted a "teammate" change after seeing Rob trounce everyone and watchng me struggle to break 160. And I wouldn't blame him for that!

more importantly just set a date for the next tourney. talk is cheap. meeting up and bowling is much more fun.

Also I forgot to mention in all my posts to entertain the sewing circle - Rob was a complete beast after a slow start. Once he got rolling there was no stopping him.

YOUR RIGHT ON MUD!!!! I think everyone said that it was a BLAST!!! We need to come up with a good date,,, spring? summer? next fall ??

My vote would be for around late May to early June! BANK ON ICEMAN BEING THERE!! Bone up mud on your shuffle board,,, LOL!!

ROB WAS, and is an ANIMAL!!! The BEAST of Vegas!! Can he repeat next time,,,, can Aslan Beat Iceman,,,,, Which team will win next time,,,, who will be the champ of shuffle board,,,,, Can anyone BEAT ROB, with his incredible bowling knowledge, and ability to adjust enough to get the job done?

So many unanswered questions, that only another CLASH of Titans can reveal!!! NO ONE HAS EVER REPEATED, AND WON THIS EVENT TWICE!!!

Try going directly from 500 heavy pressure on 4 sides for 30 seconds each, to 3000 on 4 sides with light pressure for 10 seconds each, and see what happens.

Iceman you crack me up. Has anyone repeated? Kind of hard when it's only happened 1 time. But there is truth in your statement - NO ONE has ever repeated, lol.

will do! Will also let you know how it turns out! I am not going to change anything with the ball you gave me,,, it has a sweet move toward the pocket as is!

Very different then my deadly aim.... I can't get over how your ( layout/drilling), works for ICE! 24 fricking bucks, to simple drill out your thumb plug, and install the vise system insert, and two larger finger inserts! We might be related??? I mean our hands match up, only difference being mine are much thicker, and manlier!

Anytime you want to Give YOUR NEW Best Friend another ball, I will pay for shipping in advance if its a ball I might be interested in... LOL
    THANKS AGAIN Champ!!

    important notice:

Never give a ball away to deserving child, without first sending it to ICEMAN, it could be a BOOM!! Send to Iceman, in care of: North Pole, 000 , Sub-Zero Main Street, Freezeurask Off North Pole. 00000!

Upon inspecting the used ball, and using it for a couple months, I will then give it to some brat in need of something round, that rolls, to keep him/her out of trouble!
