Lets just say that unlike the start on the first pair of lanes, that were hot right off the start! The second pair of fresh lanes were very different, and everyone seemed to have problems! EVEN YOU BOWLING GOD,,,, Rob!!! I have to say, Aslan didn't seem to have any problems with his spares on the new lanes??? (:?) Maybe he was throwing plastic!!
Rob,,, what do you think would happen with the Deadly Aim if I took the polish off? Would it burn up too fast? I was thinking about doing a refresh on my Deadly aim,,, going 500, 1000, 2000, and 4000! NO POLISH,,, Your thoughts? I am going to leave yours the way it is, after using it Tuesdays afternoon and having that 224 games.
One thing I have noticed is that matte balls/solid balls absorb a heck of a lot more oil from the lanes. I use a spinner after I get home from bowling to clean the balls with simply green, and alcohol HUGE difference on the rag! Much more oil comes out of the non-polished balls! So I would expect the life expectancy would be much shorter, and thus need to be de-oiled much sooner, then a polished ball. (by life expectancy, I mean reach that point of going limp on the lanes due to oil)
