One minute he's too afraid to bowl me singles and needs Gene to help him...the next minute he doesn't want to have anyone else around so he can face me one-on-one. He's either bi-polar, early onset ALzheimers, or the dude has a drug supply that I truly envy!
The good ones Joust...but a few of the crappy ones "joist".
Iceman starts your professional bowling clock the first time someone takes you to an alley and you touch a bowling ball. So according to that logic...given all of us went to an alley and touched a bowling ball by the age of 7....THAT is when the clock starts. So I've been bowling almost 33 years. Granted...up until 2013...over 32 of those years...I amassed a whopping < 200 games...and between 2013-2014 have added over 900...but Iceman's world is like a weird Dr'Seuss hangover...you just kinda follow along as best you can.
But for the sane/sober folks...no diapers...and I have been bowling almost exactly ONE year...bought my first ball drilled for my hand in August 2013....joined my first league in September 2013.

Wednesday, the 24th of September in the year of our Lord 2014...at Sam's Town (although I don't care where in Vegas)...
We (Me, YOU, Mike W., Mudpuppy, and Rob M.) will bowl FOUR games. The first is practice...the next 3 are qualifying. We will then bowl a stepladder finals....seeded according to the qualifying round. The CHAMPION of the tournament...is the CHAMPION...however...in terms of ASLAN VS. ICEMAN...whoever finishes higher...is the WINNER of all sidebets, sidepots, battles of pride/glory, trash talking, etc...
This will allow EVERYONE to participate...it will crown a TRUE champion the SAME way a champion is crowned each week in the PBA telecasts...AND will allow me to defeat you in the most epic fashion imaginable. I will be rooting for YOU...Iceman...to be the NUMBER 1 seed...and me the NUMBER 5 seed...so that I will not only have the pleasure of defeating EVERYONE en route to the finals...BUT...will be able to take the championship crown by defeating YOU mono-A-mono.
(But...should I be seeded #1...then I will root for Iceman to climb the ladder to meet me...thats okay too)
This will be EPIC!!! It will probably be the most watched Youtube video of bowling EVER!! THIS is your last chance at GLORY!! A decade from now...you'l be 7 6 !!! You think you'll be bowling at 76!! You'll be in one of those electric carts they sell during the commercials that air during "Walker Texas Ranger". You'll have retired your bowling balls to make room for a neverending stock of colostomy bags. THIS is your chance at Glory Iceman!! THIS!! Don't pull an "MWhite" and try to constantly vary the rules in an endless attempt to get people to scrap the idea. I WILL be there. Even if I'm sitting there alone...for 6 hours...I WILL be there!!
And Iceman...since it's your birthday...and I can't afford to buy you a hooker...I WILL (after the stepladder finals) be willing to give you some free pointers...maybe a 30-minute lesson. TOTALLY free as a B-Day present.

Really?? Iceman...not to put any undue pressure on you to perform in Vegas...but have you really thought this through?? This is your LAST chance at glory. I plan to live for at least 2 more years. MWHite and Rob M. probably got another 6-12 left in em. Mudpuppy can't die before his 7th child graduates high school...so he's pretty much locked in for another 30 years. YOU have hit your prime...this is AS GOOD AS IT GETS. If you don't win now...what stories will you tell in the retirement center? Will you tell them about how you once drove to Vegas and finished 4th out of 5?? THIS is your last shot at glory before stuff starts falling off of ya. You MUST do well.
I got 2 more years before I tragically die before my time. Thats 2 years on the upswing!! By 2017 when I'm tragically killed rescuing an infant from a Bear attack...I'll be at the TOP of my game! I'll be sponsored...putting on both speaking engagements AND bowling clinics....in between marrying a 20 yr old Victoria Secret model and having some more offspring. I'm on the UPswing! My best bowling is still a year or so away!! YOUR best bowling was about 2 months ago. Sorry man...but the pressure is ON YOU. You MUST perform. You think Mrs. Iceman is gonna stand by your side when you return defeated?? Women are far to vain and fickle (not counting classygranny of course) to spend their last 15 years next to a guy that couldn't even win a little bowling tournament!!
