Oh. well I don't know where these analogies get grabbed from or how y'all heard of them. Must've been long time ago, huh?

Yep been quite a few years ago that I first heard that saying
big hook ball for show and throw a smooth and
controllable straight ball for all of the dough $$$$
back in I believe it was late 1979 or early 1980.

It was used to show the importance of spare shooting.
