My Hammer Anger ball is 15lbs and also my strike ball. My Blue Hammer is 14lbs and is my spare ball. The one pound difference doesn't seem to do anything bad for me. I don't seem to have timing problems when I go from one ball to the other. I think that 2lb difference would
be too much of a difference. I went to a 14lb weight because of age and wrist issues. I didn't want to give up my 15lb Anger ball because I like it too much. Switching from 15lb to 14lb at least gives my wrist a break instead of useing 15lb all of the time.

That's what I thought, too. Consistency has always been key for me in bowling.

the next ball I get will be a another 15lb. they 14lb cyclone was the first reactive ball I bought. the chalk I got on sale for a really good price. did not have much of a choice of weight.

as for the maxim, I may get it plugged and give it to my wife. she is wanting to move up from a 10lb to a 12lb ball.
