Strike Pot
anyone else have a strike pot in their league? the house i'm bringing a new team to has had this running for 5 years and no body has ever won, basically there is a set of frames that you must strike in for every game in your series on any given night of league. it looks simple and i cannot believe that this has gone 5 years! currently it is worth over $700, i feel like this would be more provided it was in a larger town, but this 8 lane wood house is in a small town of 4,800 people, in the last 58 years only 4 300's have ever been rolled here and one one 800 has ever been rolled! CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

sounds entrusting, could be won every night the house I go to, just in the league I bowled these summer. there where 4 or 5 people that bowl 300. sounds like a good side pot for league night.
when my folks where bowling they had the money pin. but that was a while ago.
yeah i used to bowl in a house with the "red head" pin get a strike and spin a wheel full of prizes like free games/food, $20, or even a new bowling ball of your choice lol i always seemed to win a free game

Our AMF house has something like this. You pay so much and get a paper that has what frames you have to strike in. It's based off your avg and each of your three games are counted separate. If you get all the strikes in the right spots you win some good money. It's fun to try I'm getting into it more this fall league.
