No one can duplicate a Factory finish exactly, but they can get it close enough.
I was working with my coach today ( Jeri Edwards, Team Puerto Rico coach ) and she liked the way I was throwing the ball, but it just wouldn't hook. She said it's time to resurface the ball. It's a DV8 Mutiny Marauder, and out of the box it's listed as 500 Siaair Micro Pad, rough buff, high gloss. Can a pro shop duplicate that?

I wonder what a rough buff is. Anyway, I hope my pro shop can get it close. I'm tired of waiting for it to turn left and watching it slide through the break point area where it used to turn hard. I was hoping the problem was a loose nut at the wheel, but if my coach says get the ball resurfaced, I'm going to listen.

Well, then it's due for refinishing because I have around 100 - 150 games on it and have only cleaned it regularly.
Do you have to go to a pro hop to put polish on a ball?
You can make minor alterations at home but to polish or resurface the ball you will need a spinner some guys have them I don't cost about $150-200 I think.

You can polish the ball at home by hand but you will not
get an even surface on the ball so you will either need to
buy a ball spinner and learn how to do it or take it into your
local Pro shop for a resurface and polish.
You was asking what Rough Buff polish was so here is a link
to what it is Brunswick Rough Buff Polish
