Default Issues with switching between balls.

So I have been throwing my new Hy-Road Soild trying to get use to it for Fall league. I also recently bout a Storm Optimus in July. Whe. I recently went back to practice with the Optimus, I was having issues such as getting out of it cleanly. Has anyone else had issues whe they switch back to a ball they haven't used for a short period of time? Any suggestions to fix it?

Were both balls drilled by the same person? Same shop?

My guess would be that there is a slight difference in the grips that is causing the Optimus to hang.

Is it possible you could have different pitches on the drillings? Or the span different?

My balls feel slightly different even when drilled to the exact same specs by the same person, but I've never had a problem with releasing differently or hanging up. Since it's a short time period between when you bought them you can factor out your fingertips wearing down to account for different feel... J Anderson is probably right. If you have the same span/pitches you may just have different fingertips in them or something. Hopefully a quick fix.

Very possibly. I had it drilled by another person. I usually have my ball drilled at a house that I don't howl at. I decided to get this ball drilled by the guy, young kid, at the house that I do bowl at. Won't happen again. It was just convienant to do so. Today I bowled with my Optimus and started to get the feeling again. You know the good feeling. I'm thinking of getting switch grips put into them. I measures up everything on the ball and the thumb hole was the difference, bigger on my Hy-Road Solid.p, where I have to grab it more, if that makes sense. But the switch grips would be new to me and I am hesitant to go that route. Though those who I talked to about them. Swear by them.
