Default IQ Tour Fusion, what a ball!

So I am typically not one of those people who believe that a fancy new piece of equipment will change your game drastically. But after only a few weeks of owning this ball all I can say is....WOW! Let me start by saying that last season I finished with a 169 average, I have a high rev throw with medium speed, while decent, I know I was capable of a lot better. I was becoming increasingly frustrated with my DV8 Brutal Nightmare, I found that it was constantly running out of energy halfway down the lane and would never hammer the pins very hard. I was having a bad week again with the Brutal Nightmare, and decided to pull out my old ball, which was a C-System 3.5. In one game with a ball change I went from a 153 with the Brutal Nightmare to a 254 with the C-System, this got me thinking that perhaps it’s time for a change in equipment.

I have had my eye on the IQ Tour Pearl for a couple years now, and have heard nothing but positive reviews on it, however after doing some research I decided to go with the IQ Tour Fusion. The change wasn't gradual, it was immediate. I think my second game ever with this ball I bowled something like a 235. I have owned this ball for 5 weeks now and I have yet to throw a bad game (in my books). The power this ball has over my Brutal Nightmare is beyond comparison, I have people telling me from 6 lanes over that they can tell when I got a strike just by hearing the contact.

If I wasn’t already convinced, last night I threw my highest series ever by 39 pins. 224+247+224 for a total of 695. While I was slightly disappointed that I missed the 700 by 5 pins, I am ecstatic about how well I’ve been playing since I picked up this ball. I have gone from a 178 average to a 193 in just a few weeks. I can honestly say that if I stuck it out with the Brutal Nightmare I would not have accomplished this. I am seriously thinking that I might be able to achieve a 200 average by seasons end. I am also positive that I am capable of throwing a 300 with this ball.

So if you are having issues with your ball not having enough back end power like I was, and are considering a new ball from Storm, you should definitely give this ball a look. Of course do your research first, but make sure you consider the IQ Tour Fusion!

Glad you like the fusion, I'm actually similar with your situation. I was throwing all dv8/brunswick (brutal being one of my most used) exclusively, but went to the pro shop one day asking for another dv8 ball. They said my ball choice isn't the best and why not try the new fusion. I was skeptical because of the numbers of the ball, but my avg increased by a ton and continues to be high months after getting this ball.

i won an IQ fusion from a bowling boards contest. after drilling it up i just did not like it, it was too unpredictable for me, i adjusted the surface twice before finally selling it. i'm glad you like it though, i truly believe that every bowler has their ball
