Default Won A Contest on Hammer's Facebook Page But...

So I won a contest on Hammer's Facebook page 4 months ago (yeah it's been awhile), and they still haven't sent me the bowling ball that I won. I was pretty excited after winning it, but now a sour taste has been left by Hammer and their lack of follow through. I've sent emails, talked to customer service, and even talked to one of the Hammer marketing people off the Facebook page. All they do is make empty promise after empty promise. I've actually been in contact with another person who won a bowling ball off Hammer's Facebook page and it's been 2.5 months and he hasn't received anything either. What does you guys suggest should be the next step? I don't want to have to bring it to the attention of the Director of Customer Relations or anything like that. I already own a Deadly Aim and an Assassin and I love Hammer's products. I just feel like if this doesn't get resolved that I might move on to another bowling ball company that actually follows through with what they promise.

Same thing happend to me but with C300 also an EBI company. We had won a contest and never got the prize. I had won the contest for my sister in law to try and get her and my other sisters into bowling. What's going on is EBI has done a restructure of almost every one in the company. Bugsy the guy that should have sent your order out is taking on a ton of other things right now as well. seeing as he is one of the only OG EBI employees left he is behind. I had to Dog Jason the guy that runs the C300 FB page. You need to tell the FB person that you know what's going on and it's not his/her falt but need this fixed and ask if there is anything they can do for your ungodly wait. After 5 months I got them to send the ball we won plus an Extra Ball for the wait. So they let my sister in law have two new balls. Don't bring me up in case I just got lucky on the extra ball i still want to be able to win contest . I would ask for a second ball. just msg the Hammer FB page every week also ask for there bosses email if they give you that Email them. always Be nice but sound frustrated in your emails. You will get your ball. If they send you an extra one you don't want sell it or give it away to a new bowler or friend good luck

Give them one more chance with a email or letter explaining that you are going to lodge a complaint. I think you can complain to the BBB.org or ripoffreport.com I'm sure there are plenty places to lodge a complaint.

Thanks for this info. I would much rather just get the bowling ball(s) with a peaceful outcome than have to file a complaint. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I would like the bowling ball I won. It could be the missing link to completing my arsenal in league bowling.

I had won a content on their site and had a FB message within hours asking for email address. We corresponded in email back and forth a few times and got it in the mail express delivery

I'll PM you the email I used for correspondence.

i won a deadly aim off them last year and they were very quick with my delivery, they pm'd me and i replied with my info i had the ball within a week drilled and ready to go. i would think they would fix this issue, if you still have the messages i would screen shot them to save them for sure. it's pretty crappy thou i have always loved hammer and something like this would make me question my loyalties as well.

I just don't get it. These are major companies and they're trying to shaft somebody out of a $150 bowling ball that probably cost $70 to make. That's like McDonalds refusing to give you another Big Mac because the first one was cold. <shakes head>

Thanks for that email, but that's the email I was using for correspondence. Still no information or anything from them.

Oh and to make matters worse, the contest winner from the Facebook contest on Sept 26 got his bowling ball on Oct 1. It's like they're rubbing it in my face...
