    Default Practicing Pacing?

Does anyone here practice their pace when they bowl? In a league with 5 other people, there is obviously more time between your turns. While practicing, there is less time. I wonder if I should slow down during practice. Would it make a difference?

I think you should always take your time during practice. Throw a few shots and think about what you are doing, how it felt off your hand, what the lane is doing. Speed bowling will get you no where especially if your embedding bad habits in a ton of quick games. A good thing to do in practice as well is bowl on one lane so you can actually see transition without having to bowl a lot on a pair.

Different practice sessions should have different objectives. When I practice by myself (rarely), I usually pace myself. However, before a particular tournament (10 game qualifying next Saturaday), I'll often bowl quickly to build stamina and endurance.
