    Default finally.....

well i finally did it last night, finally got my first 600 series, i ended up with a 610.

a couple of weeks ago i had a 589 series and was so mad as i could have got it that night,

my avg has been in the 150 - 159 range the last 3 years. at the start of last night my avg was 168.

i switched my ball from a 12 pound sling shot to a 13 pound marvel S last year.

i have a good bowler on my team 190 + avg, and i think by watching him has helped me. we dont throw the same style so i cant emulate him.

now my goal is a 650 series.

Excellent bowling! You should try a 14 Lber too and see how that works for you also. Keep up the great bowling!

i had 14 when i started and my wrist was always sore after, thats why i dropped to the 12 for 2 years. practiced with a 13 house ball for a about a dozen games and found that i could handle it.
so i upped it. i may try 14 pound again soon with my old plastic ball. and see if my wrist is better. upside is i would have to get another new ball next year lol.

You must be like me and cup your wrist a lot. I've had surgery on my hand so I usually go with a 14 LB 2 oz ball (to make sure I get the fancy core). Then after drilling-with a balance hole--it's usually around 13 LB 14 oz. Works great for me. I actually tried to throw a ball that was a weight of 14 Lb 5 oz and my wrist was very sore afterwards, so I know what you are talking about. We know our own limits.
