I have an older model so it doesn't hide as much of the ball while it's working.

The diamond "Grind" he's referring to are the "diamond grit wheels" that are used on the Haus and Cook sphere machines.

I usually just get them on ebay. There are several dealers on there that you can order a variety of grits from.

how long do the diamond wheels last on average? I would think quit some time, with diamond being so durable! Also Mike when you put a ball on it to resurface, does the amount of time depend on the depth of the surface scratches?

How long does and average ball take to resurface with this diamond wheel.

I know when I do a resurface Its probably not nearly as precise as this unit! Cool

I have seen machines like the uncovered one with pads, instead of diamond wheels? Any pictures of the wheels? Do they come with various types of wheels?

The other wheels use J-hook wheels (velcro) and you just use abralon and scotchbrites pads on them.

Going to need to find all those good deals on Abralon pads. The wife said I could build a ball spinner if I kept it in the basement or made it look like something that belonged upstairs. I have a motor and a cabinet so far. I'll post pics once I'm done with it, or maybe a link to a video of it working.
