Question Anyone know of 900 Global Jewel Purple/Pink 10 or 12 pound availability

My wife is making the jump to a reactive ball and has fallen in love with the 900Global Jewel Pink/Purple; of course, she would choose one that has been discontinued, just as she did with Etonic silver and pink shoes (common thread???).

Does anyone know of one that I could buy that would ship it - at least in the USA, better yet overseas?

    Please contract me...

    Best regards,

If my memory serves me the lightest the Jewel was available was in 14 pounds. You might check GLC bowling's store on ebay as they are the only ones I can think of that might have one if they were made. Motiv had a pink/purple Ascent pearl available in 10 and 12 pounds with a "real" core in it. Although discontinued they might be more readily available

Here is a 12lb Jewel on eBay. Description says it is a 2nd due to coloring.

For what it is worth, my Mom has the Jewel (14lb) and dislikes it greatly. It is deceptively strong and can be a handful to control when not using it on the right type of lane condition. It also leaves a ton of corners. It was marketed as a controllable and reliable ball for women bowlers, but it is very strong. The Jewel might be a bit much as someone's first reactive ball.

My Mom also has the Motiv Ascent pink/purple pearl and has had great success with it. It is still a current ball and should be available at any pro shop.

A couple of other options if she is sold on a pink/purple ball would be the Storm Tropical Breeze pink/purple or the Roto Grip Scream pink/navy. These are both entry level reactive balls, with very low differentials in the 12lb weight. The Motiv Ascent will be more dynamic than the Storm or Roto balls.

WOW! Ryster, that is VERY HELPFUL! It is so hard to know which ball to buy, particularly if you are living in a FREAKING DESERT!

The Ascent and the Tropic Breeze are both other balls that I was considering. THANKS FOR THE TRULY THOUGHTFUL AND HELPFUL RESPONSE!!!

    Best wishes "between the gutters",

Thanks, Stormed, very similar advice to Ryster! I'll seriously consider that one!

Well, update. SOLD to the highest bidder! I ordered the Motiv Ascent in Green / Purple (the Pink / Purple was only available in a 11 pounder NOT sold by Amazon UK, so the price was almost twice as much.

Maria is hoping to have time practice the new reactive ball over league break - the Catch 22 is that the league break is also when the alley is closed for resurfacing. We hope to have a chance to catch league timings differentials and go to a sister camp (3 available about an hour or more away) and catch some opportunity to practice. NO OTHER CHOICES - the bowling alleys in Saudi Arabia don't allow women to bowl and the two in neighboring Bahrain and smoking-allowed facilities, which takes away the joy of bowling...

I am already psyched for participating in this forum. SPECIAL THANKS to Ryker and Storm 1, who took the time to help a less experienced and scoring bowler...

Best regards and wishes for 300s for all of you (though it wouldn't be so special then, right???,
