What I can take out of this is that I didn't kick the ball return or throw my ball into the floor hard. I just thought to myself oh well! Win or lose I still love to bowl no matter what.
Agreed Hammer if you are not on your toes and bowling your best then
you are going to get beat plain and simple. I missed picking up a baby
3-10 split a couple of weeks ago and we lost the game by 4 pins so yeah
you have to bowl good or loose.

I always take it in stride when we loose I don't have fits and throw things
around or kick things and like MICHAEL said in his post I'll just try to bowl
better and beat them the next time we have to bowl against their team.

Be here ,,, JUNE 13th, or keep your thoughts about how EASY LANES ARE HERE compared to your West Coast THS to yourself!! I have seen you bowl,,, I think Rob waxed you!! I a pretty sure I could have that day if I would have gotten past Lucky Rob!! How old is Rob,,,O,,, he's 66!! OOO ,,, it must have been that the lanes were too easy, Right MIkeie!!! LOL

I get so tired of you thinking anyone that bowls SUPER, like myself is bowling on walled up house shots! It must be tough bowing in California, where the house shots are much harder,,, ahhhhhh!! I bowl at 3 different NEW establishments! The AMF I use to bowl at is closed.
Yet the Scores keep rolling in HIGH!!! I have posted a few of them... yes ICEMAN can adapt!!

It must be difficult finding a house with a REAL TOUGH HOUSE OIL deserving of your superior talent, knowledge, and skills! LOL What would that pattern be called? NOT Red, white, or blue,,, maybe off pink?? (

We will see what you think of Missouri oil, if your man enough to take the challenge of YOUR LIFE!!!

YES,,, REAL MEN BOWL ON WOOD IN SMALL TOWN USA ...

One thing I will say about the Farm Boys/Men I bowl with,,, They like it challenging!!!! Changing patterns every FRICKEN WEEK! I had two 200's last Thursday on one of there modified 42 foot patterns.... MAKE MY DAY,,,, BE here JUNE 13th,,,, ( I doubt Rob will make the trip, due to his age, so you don't have to worry about him this time,,,, but I will be here wafting, balls in hand)!
This is your response to Aslan, when he said you don't like Sport Patterns.

Logically, if they all want to bowl the house easiest one. Red..... Then you too are bowling on the easiest one... Red. Not necessarily your choice, but thats what you are shooting on.

The conditions I usually shoot on are probably just as easy.

I however don't play the shot in a way to take advantage of the "easiness".

I'm still playing the way we played very short oil back in the 80's.

To take advantage of the modern oil patterns and balls, I need to change my release from 500+ RPM down to something more like 350.

I have to unlearn how to throw that much revs, and it's hard because it's mostly muscle memory.

So in the mean time, on a house shot, I have to play away from the oil, and use a urethane ball, which gives up a lot of carry.

In the VBT I did run into a SUPER EASY house shot where I was able to use a reactive resin ball (Storm Byte) and managed to shoot quite well with it.
    279-258-300 = 837.

As for Vegas, the way the Step ladder was conducted was unfair to you, myself and Mudpuppy.

With that structure, the bowlers that are waiting, usually have a extra lane to keep warm on. Then a few frames of practice on the competition pair before the match starts.

Rob benefited since he kept warm by bowling in each match.

When we moved to a different pair, we both should have had a few frames of practice.

well mike I want to point 1 thing out about something you said, you said you have a 500+ RPM and that you would need to go down to a 350, for modern oil patterns and bowling balls.

if you got the right bowling balls and right layout put on the ball to see what you want to see them do.

I got a 450+ RPM and I throw a lot of newer bowling balls I have just drilled them a way where they are not too aggressive like my 900 global network drilled it the same way as my track kinetic pearl other then pins are just alittle different. my network has pin over ringer finger closer to the right side (right handed) amd the CG kicked backwards to my thumb, with this creates more length and with my rev rate it counters it to let it still hook back in so I don't have to stand as far left.

now 2 other balls I have my DV8 nightmare and my Brunswick meanstreak brawler 2 different layouts and 2 different performance in balls and I can play the same line with 2 different looks. 1st the nightmare it goes long and makes a strong fast move back into the pocket drilled pin over ring finger more to the right side with the CG kicked out 45 DEG. the Brunswick meanstreak brawler hittings the end of the oil and makes a strong arc back into the pins, drilled pin down on CGL with CG kicked out 45 DEG.

see right there between the brawler and nightmare the nightmare was ment for heavy oil and the brawler was ment for med oil, and I can play both the same line standing infront of ball return going over the left gutter, 1 hooks sooner then the other. see what I mean by right ball and right layout can make it so you can get a lower performance ball and make it just like a high performance ball. just with a different look on the backend now.

with my network I can go straight up 5 board with it and I can also get left by just changing my revs and speed.

if you want to lower your rev rate don't curle your wrist as much leave it more flat.
