Default my experience with the sarge easter grip

First off, sorry it has been so long since my last post, i'm sure many of you lost some sleep lol

So, as some of you may know, at the beginning of the fall season my ring finger was diagnosed with tendinitis, which led to incredible pain during and after bowling. my doctor told me to either stop bowling, or quit using my ring finger. i have tried many various drills to eliminate my ring finger, but ultimately ended up with the sarge easter since it was the most comfortable and natural. for those of you unfamiliar with the sarge, here is a pic of my Hammer BadAss's layout.

the first thing i noticed about the sarge is that you loose just about all axis rotation, however i retained plenty of forward roll. i used to play 3rd and 4th arrow, with the sarge i'm playing straight up the 10 board (on a THS). what i lost in axis tilt i gained in accuracy (oddly), i feel like this is because i have had to slow down my ball speed quite a bit, due to my lack of axis, just to get the ball to hook. i have noticed my strike percentage has gone up, while my spare percentage has gone down (using a sarge'd spare ball). finally, after 4 months of sarge, my finger is completely pain free. feeling gutsy, i recently purchased a used Hammer Arson Low Flare and left it traditional grip. the last few weeks i have used this ball for a game or two, not trying to push my ring finger into pain. last night i managed to bowl an entire league, 646, set with my arson! i'm pretty proud of that, since i have experienced little to no pain, my finger is a little tender but it's a different type of tender than what i felt before, so i think it's just from lack of use. i feel like the old me is finally coming back! #HammerNation

i definitely feel that i'm on the move in the right direction, i'm plugging my Badass tonight to redrill it standard tomorrow, i'll leave my black widow pearl and grape vibe laid out sarge just in case i reinjure my finger.
