    Default Concentration/focus.. sustaining this??Argghh

Bowled tonight only 4 games, ave 199 in practise.. Thing that struck me was the open frames, most were splits, 2 single open frames (very frustrating)... When I am "in the zone" everything feels easy, the head is in the ball game.. However there are moments where I feel that my delivery isn't consistent, and that comes down to being really focused on how my shot should feel, from approach to delivery..

I often think this is the one thing that seems to come and go during a 4-7 game set, whether prac or league..

How do I remind myself in the moment, that this is how my shot should feel?? I truly don't think it's my adjustments, it comes down to focus and being there for each shot, for each frame, and for each game...

It's the one aspect, apart from my 7 pin weakness (which I'm working at), that costs me 20 pins on average

    Any help/suggestions always appreciated
    Cheers guys

It's really hard to stay focused in practice, particularly when you are bowling alone. I often let how I feel dictate what I am going to focus on in practice. If I'm not "in the zone," I'll just pick some physical aspect of my game and focus on that rather than on overall feeling and score. If I want to focus on staying focused, I'll usually practice with a friend and put up a dollar a game to help me keep my head in it.

Focus seems like an easy thing. But it's so easy to lose focus, even momentarily. I find that when I'm focused on my target…REALLY focused…I almost always hit it and good things happen. But when I lose focus for just a split second during the approach or release…not as good of results.
