practising tonight, so I'll use it again, not sure if it would be frowned upon a tad in league though? Then again, getting pack to OP, there are some oddities with some of the bowlers I know, a guy inputting each shot into a phone really isn't too much of a big deal.

I don't find this that strange at all (I'm also in the introvert category). If I had a private lane in my house or somewhere, I'd be there 90% of the time.
Sounds like he is there to do work. There are def some explanations for him open bowling there and not in a league there too...I play in a work league near my work and typically open ball near my house.

One place I practice there's a guy who, after a strike, will turn around and wave to the crowd -- that isn't there.
