You actually almost got kicked off? So there was a vote? That sounds kind of weird, were you allowed to make a statement in your defense before the voting?

Yes, there was an actual vote. I didn't vote on it as it was kind of a weird thing for a Forum to do about 1 poster. Either a poster breaks the rules or not, it shouldn't be put to a vote(not saying Aslan broke any rules). That is what the Admin or Moderator's job to decide if he should stay or go.

If I don't like something some one has posted, I don't read it or I put someone on Ignore. There is a reason that forums have that option. Many different personalities on a board and not everyone is going to agree with everything everyone posts. Kinda like changing the channel when you don't like what is being played on the radio.

Yes I had some complaints about him. So I put it to a vote, because I'm the only mod left and I don't particularly want to ban anybody.

So I used that method because it was used once before to ban the one person that's been banned from this site (other than spammers). To see how others felt about it.

Aslan went ballistic because assumed he was going to lose, but he didn't. so he's still here.

Yes that is how it is "suppose to" work, but frankly most don't do it. They have see it, they can't ignore it. So they don't.
