Wednesday Night Men's league, current average going into the night: 201
Moved to the anchor spot on my team tonight to try and change things up. Team took all the games and the series.
Shot 226-238-184, last game I was all over the place, should have made a ball change but didn't. Spare shooting was also questionable the last game with a pair of opens. Had 4 opens the whole night, so can't complain too much.

Thanks, still trying to get comfortable with my new shoes. I got my last pair of Dexter shoes 20 years ago and felt it was time to retire them. I took close to 12 years off in that time. Shoes have always been something I needed to be confident in, as I am a big slider. Last night was the third time I've bowled in the shoes, the other two times came in practice.
Yeah, shoes are very important. I am a slider as well and if that is not working, I am not bowling well. Especially if it is really humid out, sliding is a problem.Originally Posted by epiepenburg

Friday night couples league: average 211
Shot 261-183-180. Left a ton of splits and couldn't string anything together the last two games. Was looking to be a really good night. Ended up a bit below my average.

Shot 275-216-207 for a 698 series.
Should have had a 700+ series, going into the tenth on the last game I left the Greek church with my first ball. I threw my ruckus most of the night since it had a good look. In the middle of the third game I did throw my thug for a few shots and didn't commit to finishing with it, so the ruckus finished the night.
Nice set.
Nice bowling there. I threw close to that a few weeks ago and had a pocket 7-10 in the 7th frame of the last game feel your pain.
