It wasn't until I then struck/spared (and went on to dominate the tournament and humiliate my opponents with my truly awesome victory) that I then heard the "rumblings".

It should also be noted…that KEY to that decision…was the fact that we were playing on a Saturday and the counter staff had virtually no idea what they were doing. It took over 5 minutes just to explain to them that we wanted two lanes alternating like league play. To which they responded, "I don't know how to do that." That is NOT a good sign!
You really aren't good with the facts are you?

In game #1, at about the 10:30 minute mark you threw the ball in the gutter, while I was bowling (and didn't hear you) you were complaining that it would take 2 hours for the staff to fix the problem. What we didn't know at the time is, the bowlers didn't have the ability to correct the score at the console.

When you asked me about fixing the scoring, I noticed that you were following a strike, and the difference of getting a 1 or a 0 on the first ball didn't change the score. You still should have recycled to pins so you were shooting at a full rack.

In game #3 at the 8:15 mark, I missed a 7 pin, and immediately you indicated that the score needs to be corrected.
After about 45 seconds of not being able to correct the score ourself, you headed off to the desk, and this same "incompetent staff" you complained about had the score corrected 20 seconds later.

Thats a very "dodgy" recap...kinda "politician-esque" which is good because it's getting us ready for the 2016 campaign.

    1) As you sorta mentioned/downplayed...my 10-pin falling down...didn't impact my score in any way. The only possible way it could of in ANY way affected ANYTHING is if I struck on the next ball to give me a 1 /....no different than a - /...but there's always that chance that if the 10-pin were there...even though it was a solid hit...maybe the 10-pin stays standing...maybe.

    2) In order to fix MY issue....we'd have had to have the desk NOT ONLY correct the score...but erase it...and then reset the rack to first ball...OR...have someone in the back put the 10-pin back up. That is a MUCH higher degree of difficulty for a clueless staff than simply saying "can you make that 2nd ball a "-".

    3) YOUR ball DEFINITELY would have impacted the score because it was the 2nd ball. It was essential that it be changed...it was an easy call...and an easy correction for even THAT front desk to correct. You took minor issue that I was "Johnny on the spot" in terms of correcting it when we didn't bother correcting mine. But the footage will show I was JUST as "Johnny on the spot" about fixing mine...it just was a more confusing fix and didn't matter as much.

AND...here's the real kicker...EVEN IF we assume that I'd hit the pocket and leave the 10-pin on that shot (despite visual evidence to the contrary)...I STILL defeat ZDawg by 2 pins and you by 31 pins.

For those that don't remember one of the most impressive victories in bowling lore...the scores were:

    ASLAN: 129-151-174 = 454 (+78hcp) = 532 <-----CHAMPION!!!

    ZDawg: 105-107-160 = 372 (+150hcp) = 522

    MWHite: 127-173-193 = 493 (+/-0hcp) = 493

So...even if we alter the Game 1 score to a 121...I STILL WIN!!!

I think you just want it to be a 121 so that you can say you beat me and ZDawg scratch every game and only lost due to generous handicap...even though we negotiated those handicaps ahead of the event...and if ANYTHING...I was the one that was most negatively affected by the resulting handicaps. You claimed to have like a 190 average yet ever since then, on a THS, you seem to average 200+ and I gave ZDawg almost double what you gave me even though on non-wood lane conditions (at that time I was bowling primarily on wood lanes)...my average was barely higher than ZDawg's. I picked ZDawg to win the event...and had he figured out his ball speed issues just a shade sooner...he would have. You started so bad out of the gate...then couldn't figure out how to strike in Game 2...so by Game 3 you needed to be perfect. Even giving you both the missed spares...you'd have only hit about 519. It was that first game that just crippled you.
