Both balls have approx. the same numbers, I might lean more toward the Cyclone (Black/Gold/Silver).
Now if she wants color, you could look at the Cyclone Fireball which is red/gold color
went thru these a few months ago, now I know more about how she throws. she has a backup ball release, no real approach. speeds 8 (normally for spare pick up) to 12mph at the pins. she is using a 10lb ebonite maxim. I think she needs to move to 12lb.
had a pretty good bowler suggest an ebonite cyclone (I agree with that it was my first reactive ball, still throw it on very dry lanes.)
she buys by color and likes the Columbia 300 blur solid (colors are raspberry/rose)
going to have the drill watch her throw to get it drill do how she bowls. getting her to change is hard.
any thoughts on these

My daughter had similar stats to your wife. Switching to a reactive ball may not be a help to her it wasn't to my daughter. I would suggest having a coach or someone work with her to fix the release and approach before buying a new ball. The reactive just increased the amount of backup she had witch made it more difficult for her

Any entry level reactive ball will be fine , if she is getting serious this might be the last ball she can choose by color so let her have the color she likes ,
There are enough cool colors in reactive balls, where the numbers are fairly close, that she should be able to find something that will work for her (with a little help, it sounds like).
What about a Motiv Ascent pink/purple? Or a Columbia Scout? Or a Tropical Breeze? They have cool colors AND scent!
Or get her a Storm Tropical Breeze - it's got a scent... novelty.
thanks for all the suggests,
ended up getting a dv8 diva divine. the suggested fr her not to bowl with the ball until she thinks she is ready.

hope she kicks some butt with it
looks like she is. she struggled with getting use to it for a couple of weeks, thinking she was not good enough for a ball that nice. well, I be leaved she bowled her league night best (178)tonight using her diva divine, and last week after we did league. we bowled and she bowled her personal best an 189. think it may work out for her
