Review:
The New Motiv Venom Panic is another Great ball by Motiv. The Panic LSP clears the front of the lane with ease, saving a strong but predicable move for the back end. This ball has great carry and explosive hit. I think the box factory finish polish does exactly what it was designed to do, and I don’t see a reason to adjust this ball. Just keep it clean. This is a great ball to go to when the Shock is too strong. I have always been a fan of the Gear core and it was a perfect match for this cover. The Venom Panic drives through the pins with great continuation. The way the Panic reads friction is strong but predictable. The Panic fits just under my Shock but above the Apex. I don’t usually post scores on my reviews, but with just 6 games in league with this ball I have averaged 244.5. That should be a testimony to the carry percent of this ball. Higher rev players or people who want to square up or bowl on medium to dry will love this ball.
I have not tested this ball on a lot of patterns but for our house shot when I want to go a little straighter, or when bowling on dryer conditions this ball is a must have. The color of the Panic I got was a burnt orange with pink undertones. It will definitely get noticed on the lanes and on the shelf and even the manly men here really like the color. Motiv calls the color Coral. The Black logo is perfect on this ball.
This is another Motiv that preforms better than its price point.

Summary:
The Venom Panic is a piece Motiv needed in the line.
The Pearl cover on the Gear core is a great match.
A great ball when the Shock is too strong.
The Panic is a great ball at a great price.
