    Default I saw this REALLY odd drilling...

    The guy had, I believe, his middle finger hole drilled as a "fingertip", and his ring finger hole drilled more "conventional". It looked VERY weird.

    It's the first drilling in this video (Curtis Lindeman). It looks like the pro shop made a huge mistake, but I think I saw a guy on TV with a similar drilling.



    I'm trying to figure out if that's a comfort thing, a rev thing, or what...

    It's the Sarge Easter grip, it helps take pressure off the ring finger. Some use it to reduce revs, but You only lose a few revs at first, as you get use to it they go back up.

    Type sarge easter into the search box , there several threads about it.

    Mike Fagan is well known for using it.
