This weeks contest is the Hammer Black Widow Red Legend

I'm on my second Hammer Black Widow Legend. My first one was destroyed at the back end of the lane. It only had 5 games on it. I've only thrown the new one for one shot, and put it away because the thumb hole needed some work.
The Legend is a hybrid pearl. The Red is a true pearl. If I win I will give it to my wife as a mate to her Hammer Bad A$$.

My son threw one at a ball demo. He loved it. It was his favorite ball from the Columbia, Hammer, Track and Ebonite stuff they had to demo.

Threw my new Hammer Black Widow Legend tonight . 225 with two pocket 7-10's, and a 217 with a split in the 1st frame. This ball, at least for me, just does so much better when thrown with axis tilt. Staying behind the ball makes it go too long and it really doesn't want to hook much. Give it the 'ol " shake-a-hand " release around the side of the ball and look out! The ball really did its thing and hit hard!
From what I hear about the Red Legend is it has much more back end movement. Would love to see it!

I wish there were more Hammer (EBI) demos here in Illinois. Seems like the only demo days I've seen are Storm/Roto Grip. There was a Brunswick/DV8/Radical demo day last summer, but it was only because the league I was in was giving 2 bowling balls to each person in league after completing the season.

Could be like here in Tulsa we have Zero ball demo days :/ the only time I get to try something is if my pro shop guy has one drilled for him self ha ha ha.
