Review:

The Venom Panic by Motiv Bowling is the latest release and the newest addition to the Venom line. The Venom is the first pearl out of the Venom line and this light to medium oil bowling ball is a monster to say the least. The Venom Panic brings together the highly successful Gear core. The Gear core has a lower RG so it can revs a lot more easier and combine that with a lower differential so it can retain energy downlane and provide strong continuation through the pins. With the Gear core, Motiv introduce the new Turmoil MFP (Medium Friction Pearl) Pearl Reactive cover stock. This new pearl cover provides a little more length and more of an angular backend motion than the Venom Shock.

Inner Core - Gear
Coverstock - Turmoil MFP Reactive
Finish - 5000 Grit Laser Scan Polished

Comments:

The Venom shock was a benchmark ball for me and still is. It’s usually the first ball out of my bag on most nights either bowling in league or tournament because it will show how the lanes are playing today and what I need use in order to succeed. Now the Venom Panic is something I’ve been dying to have in my bag. I wanted something that has a smooth motion but has length and angular backend motion and the Venom Panic is that piece for me. I can actually start more right with the Panic then the Shock, which for me is always nice. And the Panic is great bowling ball that retains its energy so well the transition does not have to be such a headache sometimes. All types of bowlers will love the Venom Panic because it’s so smooth in transition and retains its energy stronger than most pieces out there.

Likes: Smooth transition and ball motion; incredible length; strong, angular backend motion and continuation.

Dislikes: None.

I recommend the Venom Panic to all different styles and typed of bowlers.
