I drilled the new Venom Panic just like i drill all my symmetrical balls (65 x 4 1/2 x 35). I love this layout because it gives me plenty of flare without sacrificing down-lane hook for my style. This ball fits right between Venom Shock and Tribal Fire. It features the same low-rg, low-diff Gear core from the previous Venoms, but with a more responsive polished cover stock.

Comparing the new Panic to my Venom Shock, I saw a cleaner path in the fronts and midlane with the Panic, and more entry angle. The Shock handles slightly more volume, but when the lanes breakdown and I need to open my angles, the Panic is definitely the way to go. On fresh patterns, my adjustment is 3 boards right with my feet and 2 boards right with my target with the new Panic compared to my Venom Shock.
