Somewhere over/around 40 one afternoon/night. Crazy I know. 2 people, non-stop from about 1-2ish in the afternoon until 11pm close. $200+ with league discount and some knocked off by the front desk...bar tab...also not good.
I used to bowl 2 leagues in one night so warm-ups 3 games warm-ups 4 games.
was a great time![]()

Most games in a day was 22 at a tournament that felt like 50. When i was younger i went through a stretch of roughly 2 months bowling everyday. I read once that Marion Ladewig who is considered by many to be the greatest woman bowler of all time bowled everyday for something like 22-23 years. I guess that is how you become the GOAT. A Buddy of mine that is very good and has a had a couple of top 10 finishes in the senior masters used to like to say 100 games a week is what it takes to achieve real success. I don't necessarily agree with that especially if you are out there just speed bowling. Smart practice focusing on different things is a must.
^Agreed. After a certain point, usually for me around 15-20 games depending on circumstances, the actual practice suffers due to fatigue. May not even feel it per say but your body starts breaking down and compensating. Hard to get real feedback from it beyond that point.
I honestly wouldn't mind trying out a marathon session.
Agreed. As an older guy…once I've bowled about 9-14 games consecutively…the body starts to fatigue. After that I'm just on cruise control. An Im fortunate…because even though I'm older and have had knee issues and ankle issues…my knee has never really given out even during the marathon sessions. Early on when I was putting a lot more "muscling" into it I had pain in my shoulders…but the knee has remarkably held up fine. And I'm a realist…knowing that won't alwaays be true so I should take advantage of it while I can.

Put up 13 games last week for $15 all you can bowl 2 hour special, tomorrow going bowling again will limit myself to 10 games, unless game 10 is a good game lol. This is the first time I'm bowling 4 times in one week.
Just bowled 10 practice tonight. Gotta love 24-hour bowling.
I was physically fine…but the knee started getting sore by the 10th game. But mentally I was definitely done after 9. The 10th game was just an exercise in frustration and futility.

Just bowled 11 games this morning with 2 hour bowling. Was pretty tired by 9th game
I've done 30 for a tournament, but that was decades ago. These days no more than 10 over three hours. Proper pace keeps the fatigue down. Love to bowl!
