Went back to the lanes for some practice.
    Shot a 192, 190, 196, 189, and 215 for a 196 avg.

I would be pretty happy if I can start the season out with some scores like this.

    Today's practice games

    Practicing releases 179

    Then threw a 3 game set 257 / 234 / 190

tried to move deeper a couple of frames in the last game and that didn't work or would have been over 200 .

    Start of wed league
    started with a 178 / 217 / 149

The first game ended with 5 strikes and second game started out with 6 strikes then I dropped the next one right in the ditch ...
Third game was disappointing because I left 4 10 pins and missed every one, had I hit them would have been a 190's game.

Not too bad for a first night out I guess, ended up with a 181 average for the night, don't know if we won any games because they don't
have the handicaps set up yet.

Second night of wed league 203/176/149---528

I'm a bit disappointed had 6 or 7 in a row and dropped a ball in the gutter but picked up the spare, then couldn't finish at the end and opened the 9th and 10th
had I converted would have been a 240 game....and so the night went second game had 5 in a row I think and opened the last 3 frames , same with the 3rd game had a struggle but couldn't finish and again opened 9 and 10

Left several washouts 1 2 4 10 and couldn't pick them up, on a good note did convert most of the 10 pins and 10/8's

Maybe I shouldn't be too disappointed, at this point last year I was at 160 for avg and didn't get it moved up to 178 where I am now until week 17 .
I am throwing the ball a lot better and need to get back my finishing skills and make better adjustments next week.

Did a better job tonight, only left one 10 pin and converted it, converted most of my spare opportunities, even a couple of really tough ones.

Bowled as a sub in a morning league, they bowl 4 games every week !

As fate would have it I was bowling on the exact same lanes as the wed night league !

    Today I rolled 239--167---181---201 for a 788 0r 197 avg

They have 3 man teams, I was bowling with one older retired guy who looks like a cross between Santa and Jesus and a younger kid who is the night manager of another bowling center.
