Congrats. Came back to bowling after being away for 30 years. Brought all my bad habits back with me including muscling. It took me way too long to get that fixed along with turning too early and coming over top of the ball. Started bowling with a 3-step approach when I was a kid. Tried 4-step but it somehow never felt right. Switched to 5-steps and never went back. I guess I thought I needed to get more speed on the ball. Been working on keeping my hand behind the ball as long as possible which really helps me with my swing. Lately have been toying with getting my hand to open up a bit on the backswing which seems to give me a bit more reaction on the ball.
